An elegant 1930's evening dress in black velvet. Simple, classic, bias cut with a buttoned velvet bow attached at the rear. The most stunning part of this gown is surely the sleeves... exquisitely beaded sheer cutout shoulders set in to a ruched, lightly puffed short sleeve... just gorgeous. When we acquired this dress the shoulders were torn... they have been painstakingly restored (you'd never know!). For photos of the restoration check out our Facebook page
Size: Because of the nature of the bias cut velvet, the gown will theoretically accomodate UP TO a 42" bust, 34" waist, 42" hips BUT I would recommend it best for a slightly smaller individual.
Condition: In fantastic condition for a gown of this type. A few very hard to see slightly flattened small spots on the rear lower skirt. A small notch shaped indent in the velvet at the very front hem edge (not something you'll see unless you look for it). Restoration as stated above. A little residue on the binding inside the neckline.
