A beautifully elegant 1930's evening gown in lush black velvet. Wonderful detailing with the ruched collar, gathered and draped sleeves and classic bias cut. Rhinestone buttons at rear bodice. Black velvet belt with rhinestone buckle. This gown has been completely restored... every seam has been restitched, the belt (which was missing) has been reconstructed with a period buckle. The buttons (which originally were half missing and tarnished with most stones missing) have been replaced with a full set of a newer reproduction version of the original button (a little shiny because they are new but match almost exactly what used to be on the gown). This gown is structurally sound, gorgeous and ready to wear!
Size: Although I would reccomend it for a slightly smaller person to allow for proper drape, the gown will accomodate up to 37" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips. Approximately 58" from shoulder to hem (because of the nature of the bias cut, the hem will rise depending on the size of the person wearing it).
Condition: In good condition. Restoration as stated above. Three teeny, tiny holes at rear hem edge. One teeny, tiny hole rear lower skirt.
