A charming late 1940's or early 1950's summer sundress in green and ivory striped cotton with ivory cotton pique trim. Fitted bodice with wide, gathered straps. Dress has a lightly flared, a-line type skirt. Rear metal zipper.
Size: 35" bust, 29" waist, 38" hips. Approximately 43 1/2" from shoulder to hem.
Condition: Colors are not as vibrant as I'm sure they once were (generally faded with a slight overall yellowy tinge). Left strap needs to be reattached for about a 1/4". Slight yellowy hue to underarms. 6 dark orange pin dots on bodice. Yellowy hue to center waist. Yellow to pique trim on pockets. A few scattered orange pin dots on skirting. A few very faint yellowy splotches on skirt (stripes make them hard to see). There is a matching belt (not pictured) but it needs to be restitched.
