An outstanding vintage wedding gown in a fine gauge blush colored tulle. I'm thinking it might have been a touch scandalous during this era to wear a blush colored gown and not a pure white one! Cap sleeved, fitted bodice with basque waist. Gorgeous, lace trimmed neckline with iridescent sequins and tiny faux pearls. Gown has an incredibly full, floating double layered tulle skirt with train. 36 acetate and tulle covered buttons up the back of the gown (you'll need a little assistance getting into this one). Lined in a light creamy beige acetate. Label for "G. Fox and Co. Bridal Salon. Hartford, Connecticut."
Size: 36" bust, 26 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 61" from shoulder to hem. Approximately 80" from shoulder to tip of train.
Condition: A few tiny spots and a pea sized hole on the tip of the train lining. If you look closely you can see the shadow of the metal shanks of the fabric buttons. The top tulle cover on one of the buttons is half off. One tiny break in the lace. An orange pin dot at the right underarm.
