Feminine 1930's Sheer Day Dress Price ... SOLD A positively lovely sheer cotton day dress from the 1930's. Deep brown leaves and what almost appear to be cherries (but are probably flower buds) on a cream background. Ruffled cap sleeves. Overall in strong wearable condition, but there is a a tiny fray at the bottom of the v neck (this can probably be stitched right back into the neckline). Super Cute Brown & Blue Early 40's Dress Price ... SOLD This is a cutie! Chocolate colored rayon with an abstractish blue floral print. Large tie at neck. Sleeves are slit at the shoulders to show just the tiniest bit of skin. Brass side zipper with additional self fabric button closures at back of neck. Matching belt. Tag reads, "A Registered Original Design with Fashion Originators Guild." Overall the dress is wearable, but there is a 1" hole in the back near the left side of the neck and an eraser sized hole on the front of the bodice about 2" above the waist. SMASHING Hattie Carnegie Cream Silk Suit Price ... $90 Wow! What a suit! Made from lovely cream colored silk, the single breasted, collarless jacket has shoulder pads and a padded peplum. Self fabric buttons. Matching straight silk skirt with pleats at waist. Skirt has side metal zipper. Jacket has Hattie Carnegie label. Additional label for Dunlap's in Lubbock, Texas. In fair condition. Some very slight color variation at the shoulders (very difficult to see). Silk on the shoulders is showing some shattering. Early 1940's Suit by Davidow Price ... $95 SOLD A truly classic early 40's suit made of the softest wool. Subtle purple plaid pattern. Single breasted jacket has a fitted shape with a slight peplum effect. Notched collar and flap pockets at the breast. Cuffed sleeves. Jacket is fully lined. Skirt has a flat front with pleats near the hem for a flattering shape. Side metal zipper. Tag reads, "DAVIDOW. London, Paris, New York." Overall the suit is in good condition, but there are two or three very tiny nibbles in the left sleeve. Actual Bust:38" (but best suited for 36" bust) Jacket Waist:28" Skirt Waist:26" Hips:36" Skirt Length:26 1/2"

FUN Geoffrey Beene Red Wool Crepe Dress Price ... SOLD Very, very cute! Heavy, bright red wool crepe dress with black accent stitching. Attached, fringed black satin scarf. Fully lined. Has Geoffrey Beene tag and a tag from Saks Fifth Avenue. Rear nylon zipper. Has tiny loops all the way around the waist which may have been for a narrow belt (which I do not have), but it's possible they were meant to be purely decorative. About 1/2" of the left underarm seam needs to be restitched, otherwise the dress is in excellent condition. Bust:34" Waist:26" Hips:36-38" Length:37"

1960's Red & Black Wool Suit Price ... $70 Great heavy wool dress has a black bodice with a dropped waist and a red and black houndstooth checked skirt. Dress closes with a metal back zipper. The matching single-breasted, houndstooth jacket is fitted for a nice look. The jacket has a notched collar and black accent pocket flaps. Both pieces are fully lined. Adorable 1950's Brown Cotton Skirt and Blouse Price ... $35 SOLD Terrific, abstract brown print blouse has 3/4 length sleeves. Matching straight skirt has a metal side zipper with button closure. Even the tag in this set is terrific! It reads, "JayRay Originals. For Running, For Sunning, For Just Being Cunning." The set is in good condition, but shows some general wear from normal washing. Striking 1950's Southwestern Outfit Price ... $35 SOLD This is an absolutely fabulous turquoise cotton set which consists of a fitted 3/4 sleeve blouse and an amazingly full circle skirt. Both are trimmed in silver rick rack and white cotton with embroidery. Both the skirt and top have side metal zippers. Tags read, "Bogart's of Texas." The set is in excellent condition.
