UNUSUAL 1950's Strapless Bustier & Skirt w/ Shell Appliques Item vc2709 ... Price: $110 SOLD A unusual 1950's ensemble in a unique fabrication... some sort of finely woven grass/straw (has the faint odor of a wicker basket). Strapless, elongated bustier with heart shaped bust can be worn tucked in (as shown) or left out over the skirt. Bustier is lined and buttons up the rear with self fabric buttons. Matching, full circle skirt with green and brown embroidery and real shell appliques (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Skirt has a side metal zipper. Label reads, "Fifth Avenue Dresses. Manila." Faint red smudge on the skirt at the bottom of the right side seam. Two missing buttons on the bustier (not visible if you tuck the bustier in). A stress to the straw at the bust (a couple of pulled strands). A pea sized hole at the waist.
