Fantastic 1940's Printed Cotton Day Dress Item vc2992 ... Price: $70 This dress is actually new/old stock but it had been stored so badly that the entire dress was brown so we removed the tags to clean it (tags will be included). A FANTASTIC 1940's day dress! Navy, black and white check cotton bodice with bold flowers. Navy cotton collar and patch pockets on the peplum are accented with white ric-rac trim. Dress has a lightly flared navy blue skirt and matching navy belt. Button front bodice with no additional closures on the dress so this is a wiggle in sort of thing. Label reads, "Fashioned of Cloth of Gold. Guaranteed Washfast." Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) Please remember that the only closures are the buttons on the bodice so this is a wiggle on dress. 35" bust, 29" waist, 39" hips. Approximately 43" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In wearable condition. Although it has been carefully hand cleaned, some slight discoloration remains on the sleeves and across the shoulders. There is a whitish fade line on the collar and a small hole. A small hole next to the left shoulder seam. Tiny bit of spotting and a pin hole at the left side of the waist. A slit on the right underarm seam. A scuff to the fabric next to the zipper placket.         Click on above images to enlarge.
