An OUTSTANDING vintage wedding gown (approximately late 1950's). You could easily pay ten times this for a modern gown not even half as fabulous! Gown has a strapless, slightly elongated bodice of thick, shimmering candlelight satin. Beautifully full, frothy skirt in a double layer of tulle (fine gauge layered over a thicker gauge) over acetate. Stunning, tiered satin train. Gown is shown here with a medium sized bridal hoop (not included). Rear metal zipper. Bodice is boned. This is a lovely, piece but it has no label.
Size: 33" bust, 23" waist, free hips. Approximatl 49 1/2" from underarm to hem (train hangs a few inches longer).
Condition: Recently hand cleaned and overall it looks fresh. There is the slightest hint of yellow inside a few of the gathers and at the edges of the tiers of the train (also inside the gathers of the third tier from the bottom). Inconsequential. Couple of nicks at the hem edge. Small hole/bruise (pea sized or less) in the tulle on the rear bottom skirt (have to look hard to see it). Presents beautifully and sure to make you feel like a princess on your special day!
