EXTRAORDINARY Black Crepe 1930's Evening Gown w/ Dripping Rhinestone Back

Product Description

Pure glamour... A positively EXTRAORDINARY body skimming 1930's bias gown in a crinkled black crepe. Halter neckline with dress clip at center. Attached belt with large two part rhinestone buckle. Risque bare back dripping with strands of rhinestones. Closureless. The gown is EXTREMELY long, meant to puddle at the feet.
This gown has been restored... all seams have been redone. When we found the gown the seams were melting, the belt was in pieces and the rhinestones were hanging by a single thread at the neckline. We were not entirely sure how much "drip" the rhinestone strands originally had, so when they were restitched to the gown we left several inches at the end of each rhinestone strand inside the gown (you can adjust for more "drip" if you prefer).
Size: There is some flexibility in the measurements due to the nature of the crinkled crepe and the bias cut, but best at about 36-37" bust, 26-27" waist, MAX 38" hips. Approximately 60" from UNDERARM to hem.

Condition: In good condition. The way the belt was redone is a tiny bit awkward on the inside but it works. There is a tiny bit of pucker near the bottom of the bias seams (though given the length of the gown you will probably need to hem anyway unless you are quite tall). Two tiny picks to the crepe. There are some missing rhinestones and the rhinestones have a bit of a darkish cast. There are some pin holes just above the hem (again, most women will have to hem anyway)
