A FANTASTIC 1950's cotton summer dress in an idyllic print of grassy, tree topped hills and quaint split rail fences. Creamy textured cotton with shades of olive, black and grey. Strapless, pintucked, fitted, heart shaped bodice. Dress has a full, twirling skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Bodice is boned. Side metal zipper. Matching self belt is included. "Vic Trent New York," label in skirt.
Size: 35" bust, 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 38 1/2" from underarm to hem.
Condition: Has been hand soaked (it was literally brown when we found it)... it looks soooo much better but the color is a touch uneven (a little more yellowy) in places (more evident near the underarms). 5 dots of rust at the left underarm and 4 at the right (from being pinned to hanger for many years). The belt has some discoloration and a little rust under the buckle. There is a faint purpley spot on the seam by the rear right hip. Despite these things the dress presents well and is a true knockout!
