Magnificent Jean Patou Red Silk Early 1930's Evening Dress w/ Beading

Product Description

Late 1920's/early 1930's evening dress in rich red gauzey silk. Gorgeous winding glass bead trim at the neckline. Short sleeves with gently ruffled cuffs and beaded accents. Flowing, panelled skirt. Side snap closures. Matching self belt with GREAT deco buckle. This dress is completely sheer and will require a slip. "Jean Patou Paris Adaptecheune," label (an authorized/licensed copy of a Patou couture dress).

Size: 33" bust, 26" waist, full hips. Approximately 48" from shoulder to hem.

Condition: In good, wearable condition. One tiny hole just under the center of the neckline. A couple of other tiny holes on the bodice. Splits in the fabric at the back of each underarm seam (I think these can be be re-integrated pretty easily beacuse they are clean and right at a seam). A couple of additional tiny slits at the back of the left underarm. One very faint spot on the skirt. This dress is a rare find, but is priced accordingly for condition.
