One Shouldered 1940's Evening Gown w/ Striped Inset

Product Description

A terrifi 1940's evening gown in rustling black taffeta with colorfully striped trim at the neckline and inset into the skirt. Asymmetrical, fitted bodice with one shoulder and one spaghetti strap. Gown has a full, sweeping skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). SIde metal zipper. Label reads,"BeauTime Formals."

Size: 33" bust, 24 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 59 1/2" from shoulder to hem.

Condition: In good condition. Discoloration and a small hole to the striped trim at the left underarm edge. Some faint whitish surface type spots on the skirt (dress has not been cleaned). Two small dusty spots near the shoulder. The spaghetti strap has a subtle purplish hue. There is a tear in the seam at the hem of the striped inset (couldn't decide whether to repair it or not... it can be re-seamed, but if you're going to have to hem it anyway, it may not be an issue, so we just left it). Ghost stitching at the side seam.
