An OUTSTANDING 1950's dress in black taffeta and velvet. Fitted bodice with winged bust and black velvet inset. Brooch at center neckline (may be more modern, but looks nice and can easily be removed if you don't care for it). SUPER full skirt with velvet bands (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. No labels but we had a Perlberg several years ago that looked an awful lot like this...
Size: 33 1/2" bust, 24" waist, free hips. Approximately 49" from shoulder to hem.
Condition: In good condition. A half dozen pin holes on the rear bodice. Two slightly larger holes on the rear bodice from being clipped to a hanger for many years (see photo). Looks like someone cut out a spaghetti strap on the other side. Odd stitch at top of right bodice seam. Two tiny holes (barely bigger than a pin hole) and a couple of tiny dust dots on the skirt (all are lost in the volume). A thin, short pink line on the bodice.
