UNIQUE Printed Velvet Asymmetrical Sarmi Cape Gown
Item sarmi39 ... Price: $395 SOLD

Last year we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase over 120 UNWORN Sarmi gowns and cocktail dresses from the estate of Leonard Gold, former CFO of Sarmi. Over the next few months we will be adding them all to Vintageous and you will see everything from chic and elegant chiffon toga gowns to wacky op-art shifts, to cellophane embroidered laces, gowns in some of the most stunning, lavish fabrics you have ever seen to simple poly day dresses. Welcome to the Sarmi Collection at Vintageous!

A really unusual Sarmi cape evening gown in a shimmering plum, rose, melon, yellow and ivory printed mirror velvet. Asymetrical gown with single arm opening and high neckline. 5 gold toned and glass buttons at the left shoulder. One side of the gown is floor length and straight, the other curves up well above the knee and is elegantly draped with a button topped slit at the base for the right hand to come through. This gown will need something underneath, as the short side is quite short and when the hand comes through the slit it pulls the side up even more (cigarette pants, leggings or perhaps simply opaque tights). Dress is unlined. No label is present but we guarantee that this is Sarmi (COA provided on request). To see a close up of the bodice, please click here. To see the side of the gown without the arm hole (the short side), please click here. To see the side of the gown with the arm hole, please click here. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
This gown has no defined bust, waist or hips, so sky's the limit! Approximately 55" from shoulder to the longest portion of the hem and 28" from the shoulder to the shortest point of the hem.

Condition: In good condition. Slight storage odor remains. A hint of dirt at the edge of the hem, but it is hard to see due to the print.
