Price: $625 SOLD Last year we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase over 120 gowns and cocktail dresses from the estate of Leonard Gold, former CFO of Sarmi. Over the next few months we will be adding them all to Vintageous and you will see everything from chic and elegant chiffon toga gowns to wacky op-art shifts, to cellophane embroidered laces, gowns in some of the most stunning, lavish fabrics you have ever seen to simple poly day dresses. Welcome to the Sarmi Collection at Vintageous! Just realized that we have a second one of these... for the patriotic goddess (and just in time for July 4th)! Fully gathered silk chiffon gown in red, ivory and blue panels. Strapless gown with empire waist and flowing skirt. Cream satin bow accent. Rear metal zipper. Skirt is lined in ivory chiffon and then the dress is fully lined in ivory crepe. Attached boned bustier. Label reads, "Sarmi New York." This was a Sarmi sample gown and has a late 1960's sample sale price tag on it for $495. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 32" bust, 24" waist, 34" hips. Approximately 52" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. Some tiny, faint orange spots on the ivory chiffon and a very slight, very subtle darkening towards the hem of the ivory chiffon (unles you pick up the hem and hold it against the top of the ivory chiffon (which we did), you won't really see the difference). A teeny tiny, faint spot on the bow. Has not been cleaned and has a bit of a storage odor.         Click on above images to enlarge.
