Superb Pleated Tulle 1930's Evening Gown w/ Appliqued Skirt

Product Description

A gorgeous 1930's evening gown in a sheer, pleated tulle. Sleeveless column gown with "V" neck and back and flared, crepe appliqued hem. I think this originally had snap closures at the left side, but someone removed them and stitched the dress together so that it is now a wiggle on dress. Please note that the dress is shown here with a black slip that is NOT included (the slip belongs to something else and is far too large and not the right shape for the dress). I would expect that this originally had a belt, but none is present.

Size: 33" bust (has a tiny bit of stretch, but I think 33" is really ideal), 28" waist, 34" hips. Approximately 57" from shoulder to hem.

Condition: In wearable condition. Hem edge is a little rough and there are scattered small holes in the area above the front hem. Couple tiny holes in the area on the front skirt near the appliques. Tiny hole in the tulle just above the front waist and a few tiny holes below the waist. There are a couple of tiny holes below the rear neckline and others scattered on the rear bodice. At the rear section of the skirt near the appliques and towards the hem there are some larger, pea sized holes. At both the left and right sides of the hem there are two quarter sized holes mixed in with some other smaller holes (beyond the two quarter sized holes, the left side hem has more holes than right... some are pea sized). FORTUNATELY, the dress does not feel fragile and a black slip does WONDERS to camouflage these holes. With the right slip and a trim to the hem I think this would still be wearable.
