SUPERB Sequined Strapless Cream Satin & Tulle 1950's Wedding Dress

Product Description

A SUPERB 1950's dress in rich creamy satin covered in slightly iridized winding sequins.  Figure flattering elongated bodice with heart shaped bust and gathered tulle bust inset.  Dress has an incredibly full, layered tulle skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included).  Rear metal zipper.  Bodice is boned.  This would make a STUNNING wedding dress at a fraction of the cost of a modern wedding gown.

Size: 34" bust, 24" waist, free hips.  Approximately 44" from underarm to hem.

Condition: This dress has been freshly hand soaked multiple times... the dress obviously belonged to a smoker and had a lovely nicotine sheen.  This is all gone and the dress looks fresh and lovely BUT if you are hyper sensitive to smoke there could still be the faintest hint (I don't smell it and I don't like smoke but just in case).

On close inspection, there is some subtle ghost stitching at the side bodice seams from an alteration that was taken out.  Hint of yellow at the underarm edges (really not bad).  A little stress at the zipper seam and there is a stopper stitch at the base of the zipper (fully functional, but if you prefer you can have it replaced).  The top edge of the zipper placket is a bit askew (again, inconsequential but if you replace the zipper it would be corrected anyway).  There is a very faint brown dot (about half the size of a pea) on the left side of the bust.  At the left side of the satin at about hip level there is a faint remnant of a brown spot (about dime sized).
