Item v2049 ... Price: $295 A very unusual velvet bias gown from the late 30's. Puffed sleeves with velvet cord trim. Pointed waist. Long stand out peplum. Slinky bias skirt. Slit back with self fabric button closures. What's odd is that I'm almost tempted to say that this could be a maternity gown because of the construction of the peplum... not sure, though, and still wearable as a non-maternity garment. Approximately 57" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition but there are two missing self fabric buttons and there is some fraying on the right side seam near the hem.
