 An awesome 1930's evening gown in sheer black tulle. Ruffled taffeta on the puffed short sleeves. More rows of ruffled taffeta on the sweeping full skirt. Side snap closures. Please note that this is a completely SHEER black dress. I didn't have a slip in stock that would fit under it so it is shown with the cover of the dress from showing through. Really, any black slip will work, or you can be adventurous and wear a colorful slip unerneath instead (how about red?!). Because of the positioning of the snap closures I have shown this as the front of the dress, however, I think you could also turn it around if you prefer. The tulle feels relatively strong and supple, which is rare to find in a lot of the 30's tulle gowns. There are two tiny holes in the tulle on the front of the bodice. There is another small hole on the side seam at the base of the snaps. |
