Short sleeved, fitted bodice has a button front with diagonally bound button holes. The dress has a wonderfully, full, gathered balloon skirt with a rear metal zipper and double layer tulle underlining. The construction of the set is a bit unusual... it is all one piece but is put on as if it were two (the bodice is stitched to the mesh underlining of the skirt but not the actual skirt. The underlining is attached to the skirt only at the hem, then the skirt hooks onto the bodice with hooks and eyes). "Hattie Carnegie," label on one of the inside skirt seams.
