 A SUPERB 1950's cocktail dress in plush black velvet and black faille. Sleeveless black velvet bodice with black faille shawl collar and a black faille waistband. Dress has a semi-full skirt accented with two long, fringed faille sashes. Dress has an attached crinoline (shown here with an additional small crinoline... not included). Dress is fully lined. Rear metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Store label for, "Irene Herbert's Tulsa." I would bet that this dress originally had an additional designer label, however none can be found now.
