Item v4101 ... Price: $215 SOLD A graceful halter gown from the 1940's in a charming floral print taffeta with purple taffeta accents. Very figure flattering princess seaming with light gathering at the bust. Gown has a sweeping, gored skirt in alternating panels of floral taffeta and solid purple taffeta. Side metal zipper. To see the rear of this dress, please click here. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 26" waist, free hips. Approximately 57" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Overall feels very clean, but has a little bit of moth ball residue. There are a couple of little wear marks in the fabric (really just like a few pulled threads). Some seam stress. Dress has been taken in and let out (tiny stitch marks on back bodice). It looks like the original owner was a little, um, clumsy, as there are a few repaired heel catches on the hem. Some color variation on the purple taffeta bodice trim. Some very slight color variation on two of the purple panels of the skirt... not immediately evident. One small yellowish spot on the bolero as well as a few pin holes (probably from a brooch).
