Draped Black Silk Velvet Early 1940's Cocktail Dress Item v4787 ... Price: $172 SOLD An elegant 1940's cocktail dress in rich black silk velvet. Wonderfully gathered and draped bodice with high neckline and gathered short sleeves. Dress has a body skimming skirt. Attached belt ties in the rear. Rear metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 36" bust, 26 1/2" waist, 35" hips. Approximately 48 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good, wearable condition. There is a small hole at the center bodice right next to the center seam. A seam pull under the right arm. Two tiny holes at the right underarm.
