 POSITIVELY STUNNING... a head turner for sure! An unbelievable 1950's Helena Barbieri evening gown in celery (really a very yellowish green) and black striped silk taffeta with rich black satin. Strapless bodice. Gown has a STUNNING asymmetrical taffeta skirt over a slim black satin skirt. Pleated at the left hip and accented with a dramatic flounce. Point of the taffeta hem is weighted. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Interior waistband with hook and eye. "Helena Barbieri Original," label. To see a close up of the bodice, please click here. Freshly dry cleaned and pressed. There are three slightly larger than pin holes on the bodice. There are the remnants of 5 orange spots (the smallest is about the size of a dime, the largest is silver dollar sized) in and around the pleats at the left hip. One is completely hidden. The other four are visible but I think you can probably tack the pleats to hide them for the most part.
