 A really cool and unusual 1960's cocktail dress in a violet and teal silk damask. Fitted bodice with gathered neckline and short sleeves. Dress has a slightly flared skirt with a wide, gathered panel along the hemline. Small self fabric bows at the neckline and hem. Dress is lined. Rear metal zipper. Interior waistband. Faint hint of color variation at the top edge of the shoulders (sounds worse than it is... the sheen of the fabric makes it almost impossible to see). A little bit of underarm marking, but again, between the sheen of the fabric and the gathers on the sleeves it's very hard to see. |
