Wide ruffled straps/shoulder caps (possibly added later by a mother seeking a tad more modesty when sending her daughter off to the prom). Dress has a very full skirt with an attached crinoline (shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Dress is lined. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned.
