Item v5098 ... Price: $145 A simple, lightweight early 1940's dress in ivory acetate. Short, puffed sleeves. Smocked neckline. Dress has a straight skirt with two inverted pleats and a peplum. Side snap closures. String belt loops but no belt and a thin slit in the neckline seam for a removable tie that is no longer with the dress. To see a close up of the bodice, please click here. To see the rear of this dress, please click here. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 37" bust, 27" waist, 36" hips. Approximately 40 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Two tiny, faint orange spots on the bodice and another on the peplum. A small wear spot on the right side of the peplum. Slight underarm marking. A few faint smudges. A small (two pin heads) hole on the rear bodice. A pin hole in the left shoulder. Despite these minor flaws, the dress looks crisp and lovely.
