SUPERB Salmon Velveteen & Tulle 1950's Strapless Ball Gown Item v5117 ... Price: $185
 A superb 1950's ball gown in salmon velveteen and cerise tulle. Fitted, elongated strapless bodice with gathered bust. Dress has a full double layer cerise tulle skirt with a scalloped velveteen overskirt (shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Someone has removed the lining from the skirt so you will need an additional slip underneath. Rear metal zipper. Bodice is boned. To see a close up of the bodice, please click here. To see the rear of this dress, please click here. Condition: In good, wearable condition. A few small holes in the tulle. A pea sized white surface spot on the right side of the skirt. If you look inside the gathers of the bodice you can tell that the dress has an overall discoloration... it was probably cerise, not salmon originally... the color is still so alive and vibrant that I doubt you'll see the difference unless you are under photo floods. A black smudge on the bow. |
