Item v5120 ... Price: $285 SOLD A stunning, rustling black taffeta 1950's cocktail dress covered in striking red embroidery. Strapless, heart shaped bodice is edged with embroidered floral appliques and has an attached "V" shaped overlay that forms wide straps (could be removed to wear strapless if you prefer). Dress has a full, circle skirt with side seam pockets (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Label reads, "A Frances Prisco Original." String belt loops, but no belt (the previous owner used a black grosgrain ribbon as a belt... we'll include it but it isn't original). To see a close up of the bodice, please click here. To see the rear of this dress, please click here. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33 1/2" bust, 24" waist, full hips. Approximately 45 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. A 1/4" slit in the right shoulder (difficult to see). There is a 1/2" manufacturing flaw in the fabric on the left shoulder. A couple of scattered pin holes in the skirt and one pea sized hole at the hem.
