Item v5340 ... Price: $345 SOLD
A gorgeous 1950's wedding gown in ivory tulle. Short sleeved, fitted bodice with beautifully arranged lace appliques and a pleated tulle surplice bust. Gown has an incredibly full triple layer gathered tulle skirt with lace appliques. The gown is shown here with one of our hoops but comes with the hoop it was originally worn with (please note that the hoop was dissassembled for storage years ago and will be shipped this way to save on postage costs). Rear metal zipper. Gown is fully lined. "Cahill Ltd. Beverly Hils," label.
Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
34 1/2" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 60" from shoulder to hem.
Condition: IN good condition, however the hem edges are rough and there are a couple of tiny tears at the very bottom of the hem... hemming the dress about 2" will eliminate all of this. I don't think this was ever bright white, but I still think it may be slightly darker than original (though it looks absolutely lovely). One of the lace appliques on the bodice has some darkened threads.
