SEXY Black Silk Taffeta, Tulle & Velvet 1950's Cocktail Dress Item v5478 ... Price: $190 SOLD A wonderful 1950's bombshell cocktail dress in black silk taffeta. Fitted, strapless dress with rhinestone buckle trimmed black velvet on the bust and a finely pleated tulle fan along the top edge. 5" rear center seam slit. Bodice is boned. Side metal zipper. Matching self belt. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 26" waist, 37" hips. Approximately 36 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Tiny bit of wear to the velvet at the underarms. One missing rhinestone. Although it may be original, the tulle is not as dark a black as the rest of the dress (though it is 100% uniform, so I really do think it was probably originally done this way to exaggerate the textural differences in the dress).         Click on above images to enlarge.
