Item v5480 ... Price: $310 SOLD
A stunning 1950's evening gown (actually it's probably at about ankle length for most women) in cherry red taffeta. Strapless, pleated heart shaped bodice. Gown has a SUPER full, rustling tulle lined skirt with a FABULOUSLY pleated and draped overpanel (gown is shown here with an additional thin crinoline... not included). Drape is weighted on one side so that it will fall correctly. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. "Will Steinman Original," label.
Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
31 1/2" bust (taken in... can be let back out another 2" but some ghost stitching may remain), 24" waist, free hips. Approximately 46 1/2" from underarm to hem.
Condition: In good condition. Some sort of an odd but small repair in the very corner of the drape where the weight is. SOme ghost stitching on the rear bodice above the waist where someone had tacked the drape for some reason. Tiny hole along the top edge of the drape near the rear waist. I little iron shine on the rear bodice around the left bone. Hint of iron shine on the front bodice. A few small smudges on the drape and a few pin holes. A few small smudges on the underskirt.
