Item v5504 ... Price: $375 SOLD An incredible 1930's bias gown in shimmering iridescent lavender to cornflower taffeta. Fantastic oversized quilted (trapunto) halter collar and winged shoulders. Sexy, open squared back. Body conscious bias skirt that flares to a dramatic, quilted hem. Matching belt. Dress has a very narrow 3 snap side closure... for ease of dressing you may want to consider opening the side seam to accomodate at least another snap. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, MAX 26" waist, 33-34" hips. Approximately 54" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Some slight underarm marking (though I think the "wings" will obscure your view of it). Faint perspiration mark below the waist... obscured by the belt. A 1/4" slit and two pin holes above the quilting on the front hem. A pin hole on the collar. Slight yellow on the back edges of the collar behind the neck. A few small, VERY faint yellow spots on the body of the skirt, but they do not stand out. A few pin holes to the belt and some yellowing to the belt buckle... all in all the gown is a stunning, head turner and none of these flaws detract.
