Item v5606 ... Price: $265 SOLD An outstanding 1950's ball gown in cream (very yellowy cream... this is the original color, it is not an age related coloration) lace and tulle. Strapless, fitted bodice with ruffled bust inset. Gown has a multi layer gathered tulle skirt with a tiered cream lace overlay. Floral pin at left side of waist. Lined. Rear metal zipper. Boned. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 31 1/2" bust (taken in), 23" waist, free hips. Approximately 52 1/2" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. I think the tulle on the skirt is from two slightly different dye lots... if you look very closely on one side of the seam v. the other the tulle is slightly darker (not immediately visible... keep in mind we've been in and around this dress steaming it, photographing it, etc... A very small slit in the tulle outer layer just above the hem and some tears on the tulle underlayers at the hem. A little stress around the zipper seam.
