Slate Blue Taffeta & Black Velvet 1950's Cocktail Dress w/ Jacket Item v5611 ... Price: $155 SOLD A lovely early 1950's cocktail ensemble in slate blue taffeta and black velvet. Figure flattering, sleeveless dress with a full skirt (skirt has an attached crinoline and is shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Matching, closureless cropped jacket. Rear metal zipper. Label reads, "TALL. Marsha Young Originals." Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 37" bust, 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 51 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. A little seam stress. A faint orangey smudge above the waist. Six large spots on the skirt where the outline of a spill remains (though surprisingly it's not as visible as you would think because of the sheer volume of the skirt). A few scattered tiny orange spots. Jacket is slightly yellowed along the back of the neck and tops of shoulders.
