EXQUISITE Copper Silk Satin Corset Ball Gown Item v5646 ... Price: $370 A positively exquisite ball gown in copper silk satin. Strapless, figure flattering gown with a pleated bodice cuff/ruffle and a large self fabric bow. Corset style details on the front and rear bodice. Heavily boned. Side metal zipper. Padded hips. Store label for "Julius Garfinckel & Co. Washington DC." A really nicely constructed and chic piece... probably a custom gown from Garfinckel. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 50 1/2" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. Some black marking on the left side of the hem (a little front and a little back)... NOT immediately evident. A few scattered picks to the satin on the skirt. A smudge on the right side of the bust under the ruffle. There is a water mark that runs alongsde the INSIDE edge of the hem, but thankfully for some odd reason it DOES NOT show through on the outside of the hem.         Click on above images to enlarge.
