David Hart Ecru Lace 1950's Cocktail Dress
Item v5857 ... Price: $258 SOLD

A beautiful 1950's cocktail dress in ecru lace. Fitted, sheer bodice with high neckline, wide straps at the rear and an attached strapless liner. Someone has added a band of cream colored satin at the top rear of the bodice. I'm really not sure why... possibly to help conceal the top edge of a strapless bra on an otherwise low backed dress? Personally, I think the dress would look much nicer without it and it is really put in very poorly so I would take a minute or two to remove and retack the straps in the right place, but that's just me. Dress has a full skirt with an attached crinoline (shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper. Lined in ivory acetate. Label reads, "David Hart, Inc."

Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
39" bust, 29" waist, free hips. Approximately 49" from shoulder to hem.

Condition: In good condition. A pea sized brown spot on the left side of the skirt. Three tiny grey smudges on the rear of the bodice. A orange pin dot on the front bodice (almost impossible to see). Little bit of marking on the satin at the underarms (again, I would remove it).
