Item v5868 ... Price: $295 SOLD A positively exquisite 1950's cocktail dress in black silk taffeta and tulle. Sleeveless, fitted, elongated bodice with sweetheart neckline. Gown has a hot pink silk taffeta sash... at the moment it is not tacked to the dress... I thought about tacking it but left it off in case you would prefer the dress without the sash (though I really think the sash makes the dress). Dress has a triple layered skirt... fine gauge pleated tulle over straight fine gauge tulle over wider gauge tulle... all lined in acetate with a stiffened hem. Side metal zipper. Label reads, "original by Rudolf." Additional store label for "Pasternak Washington DC." Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 35" bust, 25" waist, 35" hips. Approximately 49" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. A little roughness to the hem of the absolute innermost layer of tulle (not visible). A section of fringe is missing from the sash (can be tacked to hide). Some general roughness to fringe. Little seam stress. Whitish underrm marking.
