Item v5967 ... Price: $375 SOLD An exquisite 1950's wedding gown in embroidered ivory tulle. PLEASE NOTE that there is nothing wrong with the right sleeve... the mannequin has a large bruise on her arm and it is showing through! Figure flattering long lines. Gathered neckline. Long, sheer sleeves with pointed wrists. AMAZING graduated, gathered tulle skirt (shown here with a crinoline that was not nearly enough for it. 30 rear button closures. "Vene Gowns, New York," label. Photos simply do not do this fabulous gown any justice! Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33 1/2" bust, 24 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 59 1/2" from shoulder to hem (about 67" to rear hem). Condition: In good condition. Some of the embroidery has darkened just a little towards the top (looks charming this way). Some slight underarm marking on the lining. There is a tear in the tulle at the rear hem but it is VERY, VERY hard to see in the volume of tulle. One very faint spot on the front lining below the waist and anohter tiny one below the right hip. Small, faint spot left side of bust and below neckline (really not bad). The seam below the buttons needs to be restitched about 1"
