Lovely Ivory Taffeta 1950's Dress w/ Balloon Hem & Beaded Bust Item v6066 ... Price: $195 SOLD A lovely 1950's cocktail dress in ivory taffeta. Fitted, sleeveless bodice with pleated waist and beaded overlay. Dress has a very full, tulle lined balloon skirt with an attached crinoline (shown here with an addiitonal crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. Lightly boned. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 46" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. The previous owner decided to wash this dress (I can still smell the detergent) and may not have done the best job in the world. I think she may not have rinsed it well enough because there is some subtle yellow at the edges of the pleats and neckline. Some very faint spots and grey smudges still remain throughout the dress. There is an area of faint pinkish color transfer just above the side of the hem. Could use a professional pressing.
