An EXQUISITE and elegant gown!!! Made from black taffeta, the gown features a plunging neckline, with the bodice gathered into fan shaped shoulder accents tied with black velvet bands. The full, sweeping skirt is adorned with large burnt velvet floral appliques and painted gold leaves. The back of the gown has criss crossed black velvet straps and self fabric buttons from the waist. This is certainly a dramatic and unique gown! 33-34" bust, 24" waist, 36" hips. Approximately 57" from shoulder to hem. There is one 1 1/2" slit in the hem on the right side near the back (probably from a heel). One self fabric button is missing. Also, it appears that someone made an attempt to make the bodice of this dress a bit more modest by placing a stitch approximately 2" up. This stitch has come out leaving a tiny hole in the edge of the fabric (it isn't overly noticeable, but if you wish you could always redo the stitch).
