Item v6073 ... Price: $159 SOLD A fun 1950's turned 1960's cocktail dress in a copper/black iridescent taffeta with rows of black fringe. This is a 50's dress, but at some point later the hem was been shortened 5" to update the style and the buttons were all moved over about 1/2" to accomodate a figure that had grown slightly (the hook at the waist was actually moved a full inch). Regardless, it's a great dress (and if you desire can be lengthened again (though whoever shortened it removed the bottom two buttons from inside the hem (probably so they wouldn't irrritate her legs on the inside of the dress). Matching belt is included. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34 1/2" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 36 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Where the snap was moved at the neckline there is a small mark and a couple of pin holes where the original snap was positioned (same thing where the original hook was moved at the waist). A couple of pin holes on the collar (from a brooch, I assume).
