Item v6088 ... Price: $275 SOLD First of all, I have to apologize... if you see white speckles on the dress, these are not a defect in the dress. The dress was covered in little white pieces of fluffy lint when we got it (like someone had it stored in a laundry room or something)... we simply got tired of picking them all out before the photo was taken... most of them are now gone. ANYWAY... this is an AMAZING1950's dress in violet (almost grape) tulle over plum acetate. Wonderful, winding appliques and bands of ruffles. Fitted, heart shaped bodice. Dress has a SUPER full, layered skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, 23" waist, free hips. Approximately 42" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. A 3" vertical slit at the hem but it is SO hard to pick up in all the volume. Three tiny holes in the tulle on the skirt. A little discoloration to the underarm LINING but it doesn't really show through. Lining of the skirt has some color variation, but again it doesn't show through.
