Sweeping Navy Marquisette 1940's Evening Gown Item v6090 ... Price: $249 SOLD A gorgeous, elegant late 1940's evening gown in navy marquisette lined in navy acetate. Heart shaped, fitted bodice with ivory applique inside the pleated bust. Tiny self fabric button trim down the front. Pleated waist. Spaghetti straps. Sweeping skirt cut on the bias (was shown here with a crinoline... not included... but in looking at the photos, the shape of the crinoline was not really appropriate anyway). Side metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33 1/2" bust (taken in), 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 61" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Small cluster of pin holes at the right hem edge. Faint hint of discoloration to the applique near the left underarm.
