Item v6103 ... Price: $245 SOLD A gorgeous 1950's ball gown in iridescent purpley-tan taffeta, periwinkle tulle, pink tulle and salmon colored acetate. Fitted, heart shaped bodice with gathered tulle bust inset. Gown has a voluminous skirt with a solid tan taffeta panel at the rear (skirt is very full on it's own but is shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Lined. Rear metal zipper. Condition: In good condition. The pleated treatment below the waist has a slightly more yellowish-tan hue towards the right side (REALLY doesn't pop out at you when on). Again, a very SUBTLE, hard to detect shift towards the yellow side near the waist. Two pin dots on the pleats. A thin pencil line below the waist as well as a couple of pin holes. Two pin dots on the bodice. A pin hole on the rear bodice. A little roughness to the hem edge (looks like it was hand cut when it was hemmed).
