Elegant 1950's SIlk Taffeta Cocktail Dress w/ Balloon Hemmed Rear Item v6112 ... Price: $185 SOLD A chic 1950's cocktail dress in black silk taffeta. Low "v" neck and square back (might need a backless/low back bra but I'm not sure). Ruched 3/4 length sleeves. Dress has the coolest skirt... straight in the front and balloon hemmed in the rear. Rear metal zipper (although if you look closely, I think the zipper was originally on the side but was moved for easier dressing). Although it is not shown, there is actually a bow at the rear waist... it had fallen off and has now been restitched (can always be removed if you prefer the cleaner lines). Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 39" bust, 29 1/2" waist, 39 1/2" hips. Approximately 46" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Some ghost stitching at the rear waist under the bow. A couple of scattered pin holes. Some popped threads in the ruching on the sleeves.             Click on above images to enlarge.
