Item v6216 ... Price: $190 SOLD
A beautiful 1950's prom dress in ivory tulle. Strapless, fitted bodice with finely plated, layered bust. Creamy lace overlay lined in pale pink acetate. Dress has a very full layered tulle skirt with a flounce at the left hip (inside the flounce there is a pink and green rose). Dress is shown here with a crinoline... not included. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Label reads, "a Coquette Original."
Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
33 1/2" bust, 24 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 51 1/2" from underarm to hem.
Condition: In good condition. Freshly cleaned. A bit of bronzer residue remains at the underarm edges and rear bodice edges (not really that bad). There is a tiny hole in the lace on the rear bodice next to the zipper (I assume the zipper caught it). It looks like someone decided to add a scallop to the front hem on the top layer of tulle but never finished, so there are now two cutaways in the front hem... only in the top layer so it is wearable as is or you could continue the scallop if you prefer.
