Item v6315 ... Price: $210 SOLD A wonderful 1950's evening gown in claret colored velveteen and pink tulle. Exaggerated heart shaped bodice with wrapped bust, button trim and basque type waist. Buttom trimmed hip panniers. Gown has a double layer tulle skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Although it doesn't look like it in the photos, the bustline is actuallly quite bare... I would have expected this to have another tulle panel underneath or something similar, but it does not and does not look as if it ever did. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned and backed in marquisette. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust (because of the construction, you may be able to push the bust measurement a little if you don't mind the cleavage), 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 50" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. Water marking along the lining hem. The underlayer of tulle has several long rips along the hem. Scattered small holes in the outer portion of the tulle towards the bottom of the skirt. A 3" tear and a triangular notch on the front left side of the hem. Two small orange spots on the lower third of the skirt. A tiny orange surface spot on the right side of the bust.
