Bombshell Slate Blue Taffeta 1950's Cocktail Dress w/ Braid & Double Skirt Item v6359 ... Price: $185 A stylish and sexy 1950's cocktail dress in slate blue taffeta with self fabric ruffle trim and metallic black braid. Fitted, sleeveless bodice with pink velvet inset at the neckline. Dress has a great double skirt (fitted undernetah and fuller on top. Rear center seam vent. Side metal zipper. Label reads, "Van San of New York." Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 36" bust, 26" waist, MAX 40" hips. Approximately 44 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Little bit of seam stress. A bit of wear/shine to the pink velvet inset. A pin dot on the bodice. There are couple of missing teeth on the zipper, but surprisingly the zipper still functions just fine (though you may eventually want to replace it). Two pin holes in the straight portion of the skirt. The skirt appears to have been sloppily hand hemmed (not a big deal I guess, but I do like to be thorough). A dot on one of the self fabric ruffles. A very light, pea sized greasy spot on the lower right side of the overskirt.         Click on above images to enlarge.
