Wonderful Salmon Ombre Organdy 1950's Cocktail Dress Item v6415 ... Price: $180 A wonderful 1950's cocktail dress in an ombre dyed organdy. Fitted, heart shaped bodice with wide straps (I almost think this would look better strapless if you care to remove the straps), gathered bodice and pleated midsection. Dress has a full skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Dress is lined. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 35 1/2" bust, 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 43 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Freshly cleaned but could perhaps have used a better press job. Slight underarm yellow remains. One tiny pull at the left underarm edge. Some whitish speckling down the very left side of the skirt (blends in pretty well... not such an issue). Some discoloration to the lining that is not visible outside. The straps have been crudely adjusted by hand (can be readjusted or removed easily). A tiny fray at the top inside edge of each strap.         Click on above images to enlarge.
